“Definitely a period of great excitement and satisfaction: in the long history of our industry, this is the first time a Prime Minister has visited us at an exhibition where Italian technology meets the global markets”. Dario Corbetta, director of Acimall, the association of Italian manufacturers of wood and furniture machinery, commented the unexpected and much appreciated visit by the Italian premier Giuseppe Conte who, during his busy agenda in Russia on October 23 and 24, managed to find the time to reach the Expocentr fairgrounds to visit to major exhibitions: “Obuv.MIr Kozhi” for footwear and “Lesdrevmash” for woodworking machinery, where almost 200 "made in Italy" companies participated.
Mr. Conte was welcome by Acimall's vice president Raphaël Prati, who greeted him on behalf of all industry companies. With the support of the Ice agency, we can deploy our strengths on a global scale, securing a leading role at every exhibition and event. Prati concluded by reminding the need for businesspeople to be constantly supported by institutions, in order to consolidate their success and guarantee future growth.
